Terms of Reference
Terms of Reference - To exercise collective responsibility for financial matters concerning the Town Council and to ensure that committees keep within their delegated budgets.
- To make any recommendations to the Town Council on the spending of reserves and balances.
- To have delegated authority for the adoption of the year end accounts and Annual Report.
- To formulate a Personnel Sub Committee to deal with all staffing matters.
- To take collective responsibility for the risk management of the Town Council.
- To monitor performance against VFM criteria
- To consider supporting where appropriate town business and commercial viability
